In a new bonus episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce revealed that his favorite Taylor Swift song is “Death By a Thousand Cuts.” He said that he had “learned to absolutely love” the track. Moreover, Kelce mentioned that he started loving the song after seeing Swift perform it at a 2019 Desk Concert by NPR (National Public Radio).
“Death by a Thousand Cuts,” is the tenth track of Swift’s seventh studio album, Lover, which was her first album under Republic Records. It was also one of the surprise songs she had performed on her Eras Tour.
Furthermore, Kelce also mentioned several of Swift’s other songs that he deeply enjoyed. These were “Blank Space,” the second track of her album 1989. He claimed that this was a song he would listen to “forever.” “It’s just unbelievable, everything about it,” he added.
Kelce also mentioned “So High School” and “The Alchemy,” the latter two being a part of her latest album The Tortured Poets Department. He also mentioned “Cowboy Like Me,” which is from Swift’s Evermore album, released in 2020.
“So High School” and “The Alchemy” are believed by many fans to be about Swift and Kelce’s relationship. This is because both songs contain lyrics alluding to Kelce’s profession as the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight-end.
Meanwhile, Jason Kelce mentioned that his favorite Taylor Swift song was “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart.”
Swift is next scheduled to perform three shows in Vancouver’s BC Place stadium between December 6-8, 2024. These will be the final shows wrapping up her long-running Eras Tour.
