Jacksepticeye recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his latest health diagnosis. On November 27, he revealed that he took an assessment a few weeks prior and was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
In his post, the YouTuber stated, “I have officially been diagnosed with Autism. I had an assessment a couple of weeks ago about it and got the confirmation today.” After learning about Jacksepticeye’s autism diagnosis, many took to his comment section to express their support and reassure him that he was not alone. Apart from his post on X, he also shared a YouTube video explaining his diagnosis to his fans.
Autism, also known as Autism Spectrum Disorder, is a neurological condition that affects individuals’ communication, social, behavioral, and learning skills. Those diagnosed with this disorder also tend to have repetitive behavior and difficulty in non-verbal skills. Generally, ASD is detected in the initial two years of an individual’s life. However, it is also common for a person to learn about it at any age.
Jacksepticeye is a renowned figure in the YouTube industry, who began his career in December 2012.
