Recently, Jason Kelce shared his thoughts on receiving favors from Taylor Swift, revealing his approach to maintaining boundaries in their relationship. Despite the pop star’s kind offers, the retired NFL player emphasized his reluctance to “impose” on her generosity.
In this article, we will delve into the details of Kelce’s comments about Taylor Swift.
Jason Kelce says he won’t take favors from Taylor Swift
Jason Kelce recently shared his thoughts on his relationship with Taylor Swift, highlighting the respect and boundaries he maintains despite her generous offer to help his family with tickets to her Eras Tour. On The Rich Eisen Show on November 25, the 37-year-old former NFL star revealed that while Swift has offered to assist with tickets for his loved ones, he has declined.
Kelce explained that he doesn’t want to put the singer in a difficult position, saying, “I’m not gonna be the one to impose on that.” He also mentioned that he rarely receives requests for tickets but that when he does, it’s an “immediate no.”
Despite the kind gestures, Jason Kelce praised Swift, calling her “lovely” and a “wonderful person” who has been great to his family. However, he stressed the importance of maintaining boundaries in their relationship. He added, “Where’s the line? Exactly. So I’m not even broaching the line. I’m staying away from the line.”
Jason Kelce, who retired from the NFL earlier this year, has continued his various ventures. This includes cohosting Monday Night Football and his podcast New Heights with his brother Travis Kelce. He also humorously mentioned that when it comes to shopping for gifts for his brother and Swift, he plans to take a sentimental route. The NFL star added, “I’ve never done it, but I think it can work really well. I’ve got something up my sleeve. A macaroni necklace…it works on me with my kids.” (via Today.com)
Notably, Swift’s Eras Tour is scheduled to conclude on December 8 in Canada.
