Eagles’ Brandon Graham Suffers Season-Ending Triceps Injury vs Rams

The Philadelphia Eagles’ ongoing NFL campaign has sustained a significant blow following a devastating injury to Brandon Graham. The unfortunate incident occurred in the Eagles’ recent victory over the Los Angeles Rams, where they inflicted a dominant 20-37 defeat upon their opponents. However, the win seems to have come at a cost, as Graham is now suspected to be sidelined for the entirety of the season. But, what actually happened?

Here’s everything you need to know regarding Graham’s latest ailment.

How did Brandon Graham get injured while playing football?

Brandon Graham’s injury occurred in his team’s win over the Rams, where the player reportedly tore his triceps.

The development comes after the 36-year-old footballer was previously reported to be struggling with tendinitis in his triceps. Following the incident, Brandon Graham addressed rumors of his retirement due to the injury, stating, “If I had to go out like this, I gave everything I got.”

Prior to his injury-driven exit, Brandon Graham recorded two tackles and one sack in the match. Under his guidance, the Eagles’ defense successfully managed to sack the Rams’ Matthew Stafford five times.

When will Brandon Graham return to play with the Philadelphia Eagles?

The player has yet to undergo extensive medical assessments to determine the extent of his injury. As such, it is difficult to predict Brandon Graham’s return to the NFL at the moment.

According to the Michigan-born athlete’s comments, it appears he will be spending a prolonged time on the treatment table. Explaining his injury, Brandon Graham stated, “It stung a little longer. And then, when they tried to examine me, I knew something wasn’t right.” (via AP News)

Head coach Nick Sirianni also played coy about the state of his star player. “Again, I’m not ready to talk about it yet. Holding out hope, and we’ll see,” he added.

The Philadelphia Eagles are scheduled to face the Baltimore Ravens in their next fixture in the NFL.
