Adele’s statement about Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour explained

On November 23, Adele performed for the final time at her Las Vegas Residency tour, bidding an emotional conclusion to the show. During this, she gave a shout-out to the Reputation singer, whose Eras tour also happens to end in a few days.

She addressed how long Swift’s Eras tour has been, which began in March 2023, with the first show being in Glendale, Arizona. She said, “Isn’t she finishing up soon? That’s been a long f****** tour” (via Music Times).

Additionally, she advised her on getting a well-deserved rest as she has been consistently performing back-to-back shows since last year. The singer added, “Girl needs some rest! She deserves her rest.” Swift’s Eras tour will be coming to an end with her final show at BC Place in Vancouver on December 8.

Adele has publicly shown her support to Swift on multiple occasions. Previously, when many were criticizing Swift for her consistent presence in NFL games, Adele backed her up. During her residency show, she was seen defending Swift’s presence at the Chiefs’ game in a video posted by a fan on X (formerly Twitter).

Expressing support for the Chiefs, the pop star said, “… And all of you that are complaining about Taylor being at the game, get a f****ing life — it’s her f***ing boyfriend!” She also said she finds matches to be more enjoyable because of Swift’s attendance.
