The Tennessee Highway Patrol announced Jamey Johnson’s arrest in an official statement, conveying, “We can confirm that Jamey Johnson was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 17 in Williamson County. The incident is still under investigation.” The 49-year-old American was charged with possessing drugs and speeding, per the Mobile Patrol app, which resulted in his incarceration.
