Here is a quick recap of the ending of the first episode of Dune: Prophecy.
How did Kasha and Pruwet die at the end of Dune: Prophecy Episode 1?
Desmond Hart killed Kasha and Pruwet at the end of Dune: Prophecy Episode 1.
The first episode witnesses the entry of a charming soldier known as Desmond Hart. He has returned after surviving a battle, but his intentions seem shady. He tries to win over Emperor Corrino and expresses his bitterness towards the sisterhood. Corrino isn’t really happy about Ynez marrying House Richese, while Hart hints that Richese is one of the enemies targeting the emperor. Corrino tells him he is ready to believe anything to be freed from the wedding.
At night, Hart meets Pruwet Richese who wakes up from a bad dream. He tells the young boy about a war against an indispensable enemy hinting at the sisterhood. Hart also reveals that he has been given great power and that Pruwet’s sacrifice will be useful. Soon, Pruwet’s skin starts burning resulting in a painful death. On the other hand, Kasha suffers the same fate in front of Valya and her other sisters. Valya whispers, “I see, Mother. I see.” referring to the burning truth she was supposed to see.
Pruwet and Kasha’s deaths are a mystery, as the former started burning without Hart even touching him. However, Hart’s goal of overthrowing the sisterhood is clear. It will be interesting to see if Hart succeeds in his plans or if the sisters manage to expose him.
