Skai Jackson Is Expecting Her First Baby

Former Disney star Skai Jackson is pregnant with her first baby with her boyfriend, whose identity remains a secret. Jackson told PEOPLE she is “thrilled to begin this new chapter.” The 22-year-old also spoke about upcoming acting projects, expressing that she is ecstatic and that her “heart is so full.”

Jackson is best known for playing Zuri Ross on Disney Channel’s “Jessie.” She also starred in its spinoff series, “Bunk’d.” Later, she published her book, “Reach for the Skai: How to Inspire, Empower, and Clapback” in 2019.

Skai Jackson is set to become a mom soon

Skai Jackson revealed that she is pregnant in an exclusive report to PEOPLE, confirming that she is expecting her first baby. In making the announcement, she expressed her excitement to welcome her first child with her boyfriend, whose identity she has yet to reveal publicly.

The former child star told the outlet, “I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life.” Moreover, she is enthusiastic about “embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects.” Jackson stars in an upcoming feature film, “The Man in the White Van.” Only a short time ago, she promoted her upcoming work at the Comin-Con, which will have a theatrical release on December 13. Later, the mother-to-be declared, “My heart is so full!”

Pregnant Skai Jackson shares a close relationship with her mother, Kiya Cole, who raised her as a single parent. The actor had previously told the outlet in a 2023 interview, “[My mom] always taught me to stand up for myself, stand up for what I believe in and fight for what is right.” She further noted that without Cole, she “wouldn’t have a lot of the confidence.” The former Disney then expressed her gratitude towards her mom and thanked her for her part in it.

Besides her work with Disney, Jackson previously appeared in “Dancing With the Stars” in 2020.
