One of the major questions fans have raised is why Beth Dutton is in community service in the new season. Fans are thus eager to get a reminder of what she did that landed her in trouble in the first place.
Here’s everything we know about why Beth is doing community service in Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2.
Beth’s community service duty in Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 explained
Beth Dutton is doing community service because she got in trouble after she started the bar fight in the previous season.
Beth Dutton, the firecracker that she is, has gotten in trouble several times in the past. However, she always seems to come out of them unscathed. So, when Season 5 Part 2 began with her doing community service, it certainly raised some eyebrows. It turns out that the bar fight she started in the previous season was finally enough to land her in some real trouble.
Beth, her husband Rip, and some other cowboys went out for drinks in Season 5, Episode 3. As she was out on the dance floor, a woman came up to Rip and started hitting on him. Although Rip warned her about not getting too close, pointing out that his wife can be a real troublemaker, the woman continued to flirt. Beth soon clocked what was going on, and she wasted no time in physically attacking the woman. The brawl escalated and ended up with the woman pressing charges against Beth for physical assault.
This scuffle could have landed Beth in jail. But Rip most likely intervened, and she got off with just performing community service.
