Why a Woman Booked 191 Hotel Rooms for Taylor Swift’s New Orleans Show

Taylor Swift‘s upcoming New Orleans stop on her Eras Tour has sparked excitement, but it’s one fan’s remarkable effort that’s turning heads. Rebecca Fox, a devoted Swiftie, made waves by booking 191 hotel rooms. With Swift’s record-breaking tour already in full swing, Fox’s move adds another layer of anticipation to the event.

What led Fox to take such an extraordinary step, and what awaits Swifties during this special concert weekend? Let’s take a closer look.

Woman reveals why she booked 191 hotel rooms for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour

Rebecca Fox, a devoted Taylor Swift fan, recently shared her reason for booking 191 hotel rooms before Swift’s sold-out Eras Tour stop in New Orleans.

Fox explained her primary goal was to reduce the cost burden on fellow fans attending the event (via PEOPLE). “I fought really, really, really hard for every single room and every single person, and just so it’s entirely clear, I’ve done this all at cost,” Fox clarified that she didn’t seek to profit from the rooms; instead, she only requested a small deposit that will be refunded after the event.

Fox’s initiative comes from her experience attending Swift’s opening night in Phoenix, where she spent thousands on accommodations and travel. Wanting to create a more affordable experience for fans, she organized the “Holiday House,” a Swift-inspired convention during the tour stop. The event, taking place from October 24-28, will feature various Taylor-themed activities, including bracelet-making sessions and scavenger hunts.

When Fox noticed Swift’s possible tour stop in New Orleans, she anticipated a high demand for hotel rooms. Initially booking 20 rooms, she quickly expanded the number as interest grew, eventually securing 191 rooms at the Holiday Inn. “I live in New Orleans, and I could have easily stayed at home, but I wanted to be immersed in the experience,” Fox added, explaining why she wanted to give fans an affordable yet memorable stay.

By organizing this, Fox not only reduced accommodation costs but also built a community among Swift fans. “Before this, I literally only knew one other Swiftie in New Orleans. Now I have probably 40 really, really dear friends,” she remarked.
