Why Fans Think Jason Momoa’s Tarzan Movie Trailer Is Real

Fans of Jason Momoa are wondering whether his viral Tarzan movie trailer is real or fake. Will the Game of Thrones actor become the new Lord of the Jungle? Here’s all you need to know about the legitimacy of the Tarzan: Lord of the Jungle trailer and Momoa’s involvement in it.

Is the Tarzan: Lord of the Jungle movie trailer real or fake?

The new Tarzan: Lord of the Jungle movie trailer is not real.

Posted by Foxstar Media, the trailer has 66K views to date. It seemingly features compiled footage from movies, including The Jungle Book, The Legend of Tarzan, and others while using AI to infuse Jason Momoa into the trailer.

Those in doubt can be sure that the aforementioned trailer is fake. Foxstar Media is known for posting concept trailers and the above compilation footage is another such example. Warner Bros. is not developing the movie, let alone releasing it in 2025.

Will Jason Momoa play Tarzan in the new movie?

Jason Momoa is not set to play the new version of Tarzan as he never signed up for the role. Due to his physique and cinematic history, Foxstar Media might have pitched the idea of him taking on the character. But, even though he fits the bill, fans shouldn’t expect him to be involved with any such project as of now.

Instead, they could catch him in upcoming movies such as A Minecraft Movie, Hand of Dante, Animal Friends, and several others. While the Aquaman actor may not get to play DC’s King of Atlantis again, he is expected to return as the villain of Fast X Part 2, Dante Reyes. He has also shot for a mini-series titled Chief of War and is currently involved in the production of The Wrecking Crew movie alongside Dave Bautista.

With his plate being so full, featuring in a Tarzan movie might be a tough ask, even if it gets greenlit soon.
