Gloria Dayton, aka Glory Days, was killed by Agent De Marco.
Gloria Dayton was introduced as a prostitute in Season 2, a key character in the unfolding of Martha’s murder case. She helped Haller prove Jesus Menendez’s innocence by revealing that the killer’s arm was inked, unlike Menendez’s. However, the lawyer needed Dayton’s help again in the case. As he tries to approach her, Dayton is nowhere to be found. Things take a shocking turn when she is arrested.
However, Dayton claims her innocence and tells Haller that someone has framed her. But, Haller gets Dayton out of it. Soon after, investigator Cisco learns that someone is trying to kill Dayton. But, things don’t go in the killer’s favor, and ends up getting caught.
Further, Dayton reveals to Haller about leaving for Hawaii. However, the twist occurs when Halley visits the prison to meet his new client Julian La Cosse, an accused in Giselle Dallinger’s murder. As he reaches the morgue room, he is shocked to find out that Dallinger is none other than Glory Days.
In Season 3, the plot takes several twist before revealing that Dayton was killed by a Drug Enforcement Administration agent, James De Marco, who was connected with the Juárez drug cartel. He killed Dayton because she was supposed to testify against him about being coerced into planting a gun on his rival drug cartel boss Hector Moya. To cover up for his crime, Marco set her home on fire and lied to investigator Neil Bishop that she was dead before he entered the house.
