How did Rashid Shaheed get injured?
The Saints added Rashid Shaheed to the list of injured reserves after their Week 6 game. Shaheed suffered the injury while playing against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The game turned out to be tough for the Saints, as aside from having their star WR injured, they also lost the game.
The team’s head coach, Dennis Allen, gave an update on Rashid Shaheed’s injury. Allen stated that Shaheed is expected to undergo a surgical procedure for his meniscus. Allen also touched upon the possibility of the WR being out of the season if he undergoes a repair surgery and asserted, “There’s a couple of different options.
