As Sean “Diddy” Combs faces serious federal charges while in prison, Nick Cannon reflected on his experiences attending the famed producer’s parties. During an episode of The Breakfast Club podcast on October 11, Cannon recounted his first encounter with a ‘Diddy party’ as a teenager. He recalled trying to get entry into one such party in New York City when he was around 16 or 17 years old. Cannon described the atmosphere, noting, “[I] remember standing outside, trying to get into a Puff party out here in New York” and mentioned that attendees often avoided speaking about it openly. He said, “Everybody gets scared to talk because they probably got something to hide.”

Photos showed Cannon at several Diddy-hosted events, one of which took place in Los Angeles a few years back. He drew a comparison between these gatherings and the lavish bash featured in Notorious B.I.G.’s 1995 music video for “One More Chance.” Cannon humorously remarked that he was “in there Harlem-shaking” and “doing all of that stuff,” emphasizing that he had nothing to hide.

However, Cannon did not divulge incidents from those parties. He maintained his sobriety, stating, “I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs. I’ve never been drunk in my life.” He had elaborated on his experiences earlier in July as well, saying he has attended and even DJ’ed at Diddy’s parties. However, he didn’t witness anything particularly “wild.” Cannon said, “I’ve never seen no wild s—. I feel like they might hide that s— from me.” (via One Night with Steiny Podcast)

Currently, Combs is awaiting trial scheduled for May 2025 on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
