This was mentioned by series executive producer Matt Reeves in a recent interview with Collider. Though he did not give a concrete release date, The Batman director confirmed that they were well into the development of the second season. “We’re in the midst of animatics, and the episodes have all been written. We’re underway in terms of starting to realize the show,” said Reeves.
