Understandably, there is considerable interest in who Krem is and what role he will play in the DCU.

Here is everything you might want to know about Krem of the Yellow Hills, the villain of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.

Who is Krem of the Yellow Hills? Supergirl Villain’s Powers Explained

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which has Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya and Cruella) as director and Ana Nogueira as screenwriter, is adapting the namesake comic book miniseries (2021–22) by Tom King and Bilquis Evely. In the comics, Krem murders the father of Ruthye Marye Knoll, an alien girl who eventually becomes the adventuring companion of Supergirl.

Following her father’s death, Ruthye embarks on a journey across the stars with the Kryptonian Kara Zor-El in search of Krem. She even hires a bounty hunter to look for him but the latter is a friend of the Kingsagent and informs him about the bounty.

Krem has multiple monikers in the comics, including “killer of men, women, and dogs.” At one point, he shoots two arrows at Supergirl and another at Krypto the Superdog before fleeing in Kara’s ship. He later joins a band of brigands and becomes involved in their genocidal activities.

Milly Alcock, best known for playing the younger version of Rhaenyra Targaryen in HBO’s House of the Dragon, will portray Supergirl / Kara Zor-El in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. The production is reportedly slated to begin in October 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia. Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow premieres in US theaters on June 26, 2026.
