No, Taylor Swift Did Not Buy a House in Bucks County

Rumors have begun circulating online that Taylor Swift might have purchased a property in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The property in question is 5727 on Twin Silo Road, a 12,791-square-foot house, on 97 acres of land in Plumstead Township, that was built in 1750. Swifties believe that the “Fortnight” hitmaker is on the hunt for a new house, but is it really the case?

Without further delay, here is everything we know about the property in Bucks County and who has purchased it.

Did Taylor Swift buy a house in Bucks County?

No, it seems that Taylor Swift has not purchased a house in Bucks County. However, many believe that the global superstar and billionaire have used a front to buy it.

Public records confirm that the property in Plumstead Township was sold recently on August 9 for a whopping $12.9 million. Records also state that Twin Silo Farms LLC had transferred the deed to a company named Good Pointe LLC. Moreover, the Pennsylvania Department of State confirms that the latter is registered as a foreign Limited Liability Company in Delaware.

Phillyburbs has reported that the phone number listed in the real estate transfer tax documents for Good Pointe LLC did not identify who it belonged to. Many believe that the company is an alias for Taylor Swift, who wishes to remain an anonymous buyer. However, this still remains a speculation.

Furthermore, Patch had a conversation with Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Dan Phillips to find out if the rumors were true. Phillips stated in his reply email, “We have heard this rumor as well. We can confirm that we DO NOT have anything recorded in our office under the name Taylor Swift.”

Thus, it looks like the 34-year-old “Blank Space” singer is not the one who has made the purchase. The news of her being the new owner of the Bucks County property is purely a rumor.
