Are you wondering if Dwayne Johnson and Henry Cavill‘s 300 3 trailer that is making the rounds online is real? A mysterious YouTube video has fans buzzing, featuring Dwayne Johnson and Henry Cavill in an epic Zack Snyder’s 300 Born of an Empire. The trailer, which seems to promise fierce battles and betrayals, is gaining traction, but is it real or just another internet hoax?

Is the 300 Born of an Empire trailer real or fake? Let’s break down what fans are seeing and whether Henry Cavill & Dwayne Johnson’s 300 3 trailer has any validity.

Is Dwayne Johnson and Henry Cavill’s 300 3 trailer real or fake?

Unfortunately for those hoping it’s true, the Dwayne Johnson and Henry Cavill’s 300 3 trailer is a well-crafted fake.

The video, which quickly gained attention, uses AI-generated footage, splicing clips from older movies to create the illusion of an authentic teaser. While the video looks convincing, with high-quality visuals and a familiar Spartan aesthetic, Warner Bros. and the original 300 director, Zack Snyder, have yet to confirm any plans for such a sequel.

The popular YouTube channel, Darth Trailer, released the fake trailer. This channel is well-known for creating fan-made trailers. Their use of realistic editing and a compelling killer thumbnail has caused many fans to mistake the fake trailer for the real deal.

Given the advanced capabilities of AI, it’s difficult to distinguish between real and generated content. However, until an official announcement is made, it’s safe to say that this footage is not an official part of 300 Born of an Empire.

Earlier in May, Variety reported that Warner Bros. Television is working on a potential series prequel that dives into the origins of the Spartan empire. Negotiations are ongoing, and Zack Snyder, the director and co-writer of the acclaimed film 300, is in discussions to helm and executive produce a forthcoming series.

Deborah Snyder, the executive producer of the 300 movies, is set to return as an executive producer under Stone Quarry, the production company she co-owns with Zack Snyder. Wesley Coller from Stone Quarry will also join the project. Gianni Nunnari, Mark Canton, and Bernie Goldmann, all of whom contributed as producers to the original film, are likewise in talks to reprise their roles.

Specific narrative details for the series remain under development, but sources indicate that the show will serve as a prequel to the 2006 film. At present, no writer or platform is officially associated with the project.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Zack Snyder has successfully repurchased the rights to Blood and Ashes from Warner Bros. Snyder initially conceived this film as a direct sequel to 300: Rise of an Empire. However, during its development, the script evolved into a narrative focused on a homosexual romance between Alexander the Great and his general, Hephaestion.

He said, “We got the rights back so we can make if we want it. I don’t know what the marketplace is for an incredibly homoerotic, super violent, super sexual movie. But maybe it’s perfect.”

Snyder has disclosed that Courtenay Valenti was enthusiastic about this concept.
