Why Fans Think Brie Larson’s Star Wars: Revan Movie is Real

The internet has been ablaze with a mysterious image claiming to be the poster for a Star Wars movie starring Brie Larson as Revan. While no official confirmation has been made, the poster has captured the attention of fans worldwide. With its striking visuals and tantalizing details, it’s ignited a firestorm of speculation and excitement.

But is the movie real or fake? Let’s find out.

Is Disney’s Star Wars: Revan movie real or fake?

The purported poster of Disney’s Star Wars Revan movie is fake.

A viral Facebook post is suggesting the upcoming release of a live-action Star Wars: Revan film in 2027, featuring Captain Marvel star Brie Larson in the lead role. The poster was shared on a Facebook page called Star Wars High Ground. However, it is not real and is a fan-made poster. The poster depicts Larson as a female Jedi in purple and gold robes, wielding both a purple and a red lightsaber, with a black and red mask. Accompanying the poster was a caption hinting at a potential release date after 2026’s The Mandalorian and Grogu.

However, the poster has been confirmed to be a computer-generated image and, therefore, fake. Moreover, there have been no official announcements or reports regarding a Star Wars: Revan film project.

Will Brie Larson appear in Disney’s Star Wars: Revan movie?

There is no official confirmation as to whether Brie Larson will join Star Wars.

The actress has long harbored a desire to enter the universe. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly along with Samuel L. Jackson, she expressed her aspiration to portray a Jedi. “It’s so cool. I wish I was a Jedi,” she said. “I got to hold his lightsaber! He brought it to me on set on May the 4th, and I cried. It was so cool. I wanna be a Jedi.”

In 2022, she posted an image on her Instagram, wherein she’s sporting “space buns,” sparking speculation that she might have been cast in a Star Wars role. Her connection to the franchise runs even deeper, as evidenced by a post on X (formerly Twitter) featuring her standing beside a C-3PO model while she’s dressed in Jedi attire and wielding a lightsaber.
