Did Sean Bean’s Wilford die in Snowpiercer Season 4 Episode 7?

Yes, Sean Bean’s Wilford dies in Snowpiercer Season 4 Episode 7.

In Season 4 Episode 7, Wilford and Layton work to capture and kill the grunts who tried to take down Snowpiercer’s elevator. Wilford and Alex also joined forces to create a sonic weapon capable of deafening and immobilizing oncoming troops with rock music.

Wilford later went to the control room. He then began shouting orders as the Snowpiercer arrived at the silo. However, Milius caught Wilford off guard and led him to a level with an extremely cold atmosphere that proved lethal. Milius, who had been wearing a snowsuit, stayed protected. However, Wilford, who did not have a snowsuit, started freezing to death.

However, Wilford, who was revealed to have used a transfusion from Josie in Episode 6 to become impervious to cold, eventually thawed himself out. He then killed Anton Milius by ripping off his protection gear and leaving him to freeze to death.

Wilford eventually confronted Layton aboard the last car. They then engaged in a brief scuffle that saw Layton wrestle for Milius’ gun in Wilford’s hands. Wilford was eventually defeated but soon asked for mercy. He then lit a poisoned blunt and started smoking up, ensuring a slow and gentle death.

However, as Wilford died, he revealed that Dr. Nima was responsible for causing The Freeze. Wilford then revealed that the Gemini rocket launches were Nima’s way of fixing the damage he caused.

Snowpiercer is currently streaming on AMC Plus.
