New Taylor Swift Eras Tour Barbie Doll Rumors Explained

Margot Robbie once famously said that Taylor Swift is such a Barbie. Now, rumors are swirling about a possible collaboration between Taylor Swift and Mattel for a line of Eras Tour Barbie dolls. Fans are eager to know if these rumors hold any truth. With leaked images circulating online, fans are wondering if Swift’s iconic tour outfits could soon be seen on Barbie dolls, and the excitement is building.

But are these Taylor Swift Eras Tour Barbie dolls really in the works? Let’s explore the details.

Are Taylor Swift Eras Tour Barbie dolls releasing soon?

Neither Mattel nor any authoritative source has confirmed the release of Swift Eras Tour Barbie Dolls.

Recently, Mattel leaked some exclusive images featuring Barbie dolls, sporting Swift’s Eras-tour outfits. Three images are circulating, consisting of distinct Barbies wearing the OG pink and blue lover’s bodysuit, the cupcake-shaped Speak Now ballgown, and the Tortured Poet’s Society’s dress, respectively.

According to a TikTok user, an insider revealed that Mattel will work with Swift to bring these Barbie dolls to life. This is the same insider who previously reported about Mattel releasing the Ariana Grande-led Wicked movie dolls. Surprisingly, the rumors turned out to be true and the dolls are now out for purchase. However, until an official statement is made, these leaks remain speculative. Things will become clearer in the coming days if this collaboration is certain to happen.

Previously, Mattel dropped two limited-edition A Super Bowl LVIII Barbies. They released Barbies for each team, Kansas City Chiefs, and the San Francisco 49ers. Fans quickly noticed it gave Swift vibes, who usually comes to NFL matches to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. In a statement, Lisa McKnight, Mattel’s Executive Vice President & Chief Brand Officer announced the launch of the Super Bowl dolls. She said, “As football fans across the country get ready for The Big Game, we’re thrilled to offer San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs superfans the chance to commemorate a historic win with these special collectibles from our Fisher-Price, Barbie, and UNO brands.”
