Cinematic Kingdom released the trailer on their YouTube channel on August 24, 2024. However, despite its realistic appearance, the trailer is fake, and AI-powered tools created it. Given the film’s scheduled release date in October 2025, we expect the trailer to be released officially early next year. The first trailer was screened at the D23 Expo earlier this month.

Earlier this year, Jared Leto took to his Instagram to share the first look of his character. The image showed him in a black suit embellished with red lights. His post reads, “ARE YOU READY??” the Oscar-winning actor and Thirty Seconds To Mars frontman wrote, revealing that “TRON: Ares” comes out in 2025.

TRON: Ares chronicles the perilous journey of Ares, a highly advanced Program dispatched from the digital realm into the physical world. This encounter marks a groundbreaking moment in human history, as it represents the first interaction between humankind and artificial intelligence entities.

Evan Peters, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, Cameron Monaghan, Sarah Desjardins, Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro, and Gillian Anderson are part of the cast. In addition, on April 29, it was announced that Jeff Bridges would reprise his role as Kevin Flyn. With this, there is a strong possibility that Bruce Boxleitner, Garrett Hedlund, and Olivia Wilde might return to their respective roles.
