Why Do Fans Think the Daredevil: Born Again Trailer Is Real?

A Daredevil: Born Again trailer dropped online recently and fans are wondering whether it is real or fake. This series is set to release in March 2025 on Disney Plus. Born Again will fully integrate Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock and other cast members from Netflix’s Daredevil into the MCU. Previously, Daredevil has made appearances in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law in the MCU.

So, is this new Daredevil: Born Again or Season 4 trailer real or fake? Here is the answer.

Is the Daredevil: Born Again trailer real or fake?

The Daredevil: Born Again trailer that was recently released online is fake and fan-made.

The trailer was made and uploaded by Screen Culture. This is a YouTube channel notorious for making and uploading fan-made trailers. As of this writing, it has accumulated 62K views and 1.2 K likes.

You can check out the fan-made trailer below.

Although the trailer is fake, it is unsurprising to see that some fans, especially those unversed with technology, thought it to be real. This is because of the seemingly strong editing talent that went behind the footage. Moreover, the trailer features past footage, AI shots, and a remixed theme of Netflix’s Daredevil, making it difficult for viewers to differentiate between what’s real and what’s not.

Another reason fans may have thought it to be real is that Marvel Studios showed an actual trailer at the D23 Expo 2024. However, Marvel has yet to officially release the D23 trailer online.

It is currently unknown when the actual Daredevil: Born Again trailer will be released online. But, considering the series’ March 2025 release window, the trailer could arrive sometime by the end of this year or at the start of next year.

All three seasons of Marvel’s Daredevil are currently streaming on Disney Plus. You can also stream its sister shows Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist on the platform.
