Later, in an appearance on The What Podcast by Barry Couter and Bryan Stone, Antonoff struck back at Damon Albarn’s comments to Los Angeles Times about how Taylor Swift did not write her own music. In an interview with The New Yorker, Antonoff credited Swift for helping launch his music producer career.

Meanwhile, Swift has praised Antonoff’s versatility as a musician in an interview with The New York Times in 2017. “He’s an absolute joy.
