Hulu’s new TV and movies on the release schedule for August 19-25, 2024 include Total Drama Island: Reloaded: Complete Season 1A and the film Stress Positions.
On August 21, the film Stress Positions drops on Hulu. This is a comedy movie following Terry Goon, who strictly quarantines at his ex-husband’s Brooklyn brownstone house with his nephew, Bahlul. The latter is a 19-year-old Moroccan model, who is bedridden following an electric scooter accident. Unfortunately for Terry, everyone he knows is eager to meet Bahlul, despite the quarantine restrictions.
Then, on August 25, the complete first part of Total Drama Island: Reloaded drops on Hulu. This season takes place in Camp Wawanakwa, where contestants compete in a series of challenges. This involves tasks like extreme baking, making TikTok videos, and drag racing, in order to win the coveted $1 million prize.
Also coming out on Hulu this week is The Courier.
The Courier is set during the Cold War and follows spy Greville Wayne. He and his Russian source try to stop the Cuban Missile Crisis. Dominic Cooke directed the movie from a screenplay penned by Tom O’Connor.
