Netflix’s The Union is coming out in a few days and fans are wondering about its gorgeous filming locations. Directed by Julian Farino, and starring Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry, The Union follows a construction worker, Mike McKenna. His life dramatically changes when his estranged high-school girlfriend, Roxanne Hall, recruits him for an espionage mission. McKenna soon finds himself desiring to become a spy.

Where was Netflix’s The Union filmed?
The Union was filmed in London, New Jersey, the Slovenian city Piran, and the Italian city Trieste.
The Union, formerly titled Our Man From Jersey, commenced filming in March 2022. Furthermore, in September 2022, the production team went to Ponterosso in Trieste to film scenes there.

However, the cast and crew’s shooting schedule in the Fitzrovia neighborhood in May 2022, invited controversy. This was due to the filming causing a disturbance to the residents in the area. As per Fitzrovia News, noise and air pollution were the main causes of the disturbance.
In response, The Union’s location manager Sam Pickering issued an apology to the residents in the area, for not giving them advanced notice about the filming. Additionally, Camden Film Office, who had been working with The Union crew also issued an apology.
Where is The Union set?
The Union is primarily set in New Jersey, as the main protagonists Mike McKenna and Roxanne Hall are natives to the city.
In addition, the trailer teases that some scenes take place in London, Slovenia, and Italy. Thus, McKenna and Hall will seemingly travel to various parts of the world on account of their espionage mission in the film.
Besides Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry, The Union also stars J.K. Simmons, Jackie Earle Healy, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jessica De Gouw, Alice Lee, Patch Darragh, and Alex Brightman.
