Beyond his role as Chi-Chi in Scarface, Salazar appeared in Punchline opposite Tom Hanks, playing the supporting role of Rico. He also worked with Al Pacino again in 1993’s Carlito’s Way, portraying Walberto. The actor’s other credits include The Wild Life, Walk Proud, Hot to Trot, Boulevard Nights, and Maniac Cop 2. Additionally, Salazar was a comedian and featured in NBC’s Last Comic Standing and several HBO comedy specials.
