Pledis Entertainment’s fromis_9 will soon release their new comeback mini album, Supersonic. Before the much-anticipated release, the music label shared the release date, time, and tracklist of the EP Supersonic.
fromis_9, consisting of Roh Ji-Sun, Song Ha-Young, Lee Sae-Rom, Lee Chae-Young, Lee Na-Gyung, Park Ji-Won, Lee Seo-Yeon, and Baek Ji-Heon, will return to the music scenes after a year. The K-pop band’s 2023 release was a studio album, Unlock My World.

The Pledis Entertainment group will release their 2024 comeback album on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 6 p.m. KST, 5 a.m. ET, 2 a.m. PT, 10 a.m. BST, and 2:30 p.m. IST on all major music platforms. The album’s title track music video will be unveiled on HYBE Channels YouTube simultaneously.

fromis_9’s new mini album, Supersonic, contains three tracks: “Supersonic,” “Beat The Heat,” and “Take A Chance.” Before the main drop, Pledis shared a highlight medley of the tracks. The tunes and the title of fromis_9’s next album hint at a summer album with fresh melodies and groovy beats.
“Take a Chance” is the longest of the three new tracks, running for three minutes and 29 seconds. “Supersonic” and “Beat The Heat” are two minutes and 54 seconds long. While the song lengths are pretty short, they are up to date with the latest K-pop trend, where most fourth-generation groups prefer dropping shorter-length songs.
fromis_9’s last album, Unlock My World, did impressively well on the music charts. Within a week of its release, it sold over 190,594 copies and ranked number 5 on the Circle Album Chart. The album also sold over 10k in Japan, ranking it 7th on the Billboard Japan Hot Albums chart.
Meanwhile, fromis_9 has a packed schedule after their mini-album release on Monday, August 12. The K-pop girl group will perform at the Ulsan Summer Festival 2024 at 7:30 p.m. KST and 6:30 a.m. ET.
