Serendipity’s Embrace episode 7 release date has been announced. It stars Kim So-Hyun as Lee Hong-Ju and Chae Jong-Hyeop as Kang Hu-Yeong. They are high school classmates who meet after a decade and find themselves attracted to each other.
In the previous episode, Hu-Yeong and Hong-Ju enjoyed their dating phase. However, their happiness might not last long as his mother, Do-Seon, returned to South Korea. She was not ready to accept Hu-Yeong’s resignation. Meanwhile, Hong-Ju’s ex, Jun-Oh, tried to get her back.
The trailer for Serendipity’s Embrace episode 7 features Do-Seon threatening Hong-Ju to leave her son. For context, Hu-Yeong quit his family business because he didn’t want to leave his first love again and move to the US.

Serendipity’s Embrace episode 7 will air on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 8:40 p.m. on tvN. It will later stream on Rakuten Viki. Consisting of only eight episodes, the romance K-drama airs twice a week on Monday and Tuesday. Hence, the finale (episode 8) will be released on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

The Serendipity’s Embrace episode 7 trailer begins with Hu-Yeong and Hong-Ju enjoying each other’s company. He has decided not to leave her this time. Referring to his decision, Hu-Yeong stubbornly tells his mother, Do-Seon, “Call it a crisis or rebellion.” However, Hong-Ju is not happy with her boyfriend quitting his job.
Do-Seon then finds out about Hong-Ju. Then, the mother threatens her son’s girlfriend to leave him. Meanwhile, Jun-Oh doesn’t stop pursuing Hong-Ju. Furthermore, a few misunderstandings seem to arise between the couple. Hu-Yeong asks Hong-Ju, “Shouldn’t you trust me first?” In response, she questions him back, “And what if you just leave like that? Am I supposed to not know anything and find out after you leave?”
The trailer’s ending teases the breakup phase between the pair. Meanwhile, Serendipity’s Embrace airs on Mondays and Tuesdays on tvN and Viki.
