Former K-pop act B.A.P members Moon Jong-Up, Jung Dae-Hyun, Bang Yong-Guk, and Yoo Young-Jae returned to the K-pop scene with a new album in August. The members released the latest EP with a new name.
K-pop act B.A.P. debuted in 2012 and became instantly famous for its catchy songs. Within the first two years of its debut, B.A.P’s six members—Yongguk, Daehyun, Youngjae, Jongup, Zelo, and Himchan—released over three extended plays and a studio album.
Unfortunately, B.A.P. went on a hiatus in 2014 following a lawsuit against TS Entertainment. The group settled the lawsuit later and released more music before disbanding in 2019.
K-pop boy band B.A.P’s new name & comeback explored
Former B.A.P members Moon Jong-Up, Jung Dae-Hyun, Bang Yong-Guk, and Yoo Young-Jae released their new album under BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON. The new album, Curtain Call, was unveiled on August 8, 2024, at 6 p.m. KST and 5 a.m. ET. Following the release, BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON members will meet their fans in two new concerts on August 17 and 18.
BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON’s new album consists of five tracks, including “Love,” “Farewell,” “Gone,” “Stand It All,” and “Way Back.” The album has a global release so that fans can stream it through YouTube Music, Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms.
Following the album’s release, BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON will also travel to Japan’s Tokyo for their fan concert, which will be held on August 10 at 12 p.m. JST and 12 p.m. KST. Fans can buy tickets for the upcoming meeting on Lawson’s ticketing platform.
Meanwhile, early reviews of the new B.A.P. members’ album surfaced on various social media platforms. Fans loved the band members’ reunion and the story-telling in their new song, “Gone.” MV’s title track gathered over 17k views and almost 2000 comments within hours of its release.
Curtain Call is just the beginning for BANG&JUNG&YOO&MOON. The former B.A.P members plan to show a lot more to their fans through new music releases with a rejuvenated spirit. Stay tuned for more updates.
