Kagurabachi chapter 44 recap
The chapter continues from where the previous episode left off, with Kyora Sazanami dying in front of everyone. The audience notices the blade beside Chihiro and immediately tries to attack him. However, Shiba teleports them outside the building. Upon arriving, he notices that Chihiro is not with them. Tafuku managed to put him in a barrier to prevent the teleportation.
Hiyuki then asks him for the enchanted blades. Meanwhile, outside the building, Shiba and Hakuri watch the Rakuzichi building explode and crumble. They then see Chihiro on Tafuku’s back while Hiyuki carries the enchanted blades. Hiyuki tells them that she has made a deal with Chihiro.
Hakuri tries to inquire about it, but Chihiro asks him what his next steps are. The chapter then shows a flashback of Shiba asking the remaining Tou members to return home. However, Hakuri realizes he cannot go home as he has become their enemy. He decides to stay with Chihiro.
The chapter then reveals Chihiro and Hiyuki’s conversation. Although Chihito refused to hand over the blades, he knew the situation was different after seeing the carnage caused by Shinuchi. However, he felt giving the blade to the Kamunabi was what the Hishaku leader wanted. The chapter ends with Chihiro deciding to join the Kamunabi sorcerers.
