Serendipity’s Embrace episode 5 release date has been announced. Starring Kim So-Hyun as Lee Hong-Ju and Chae Jong-Hyeop as Kang Hu-Yeong, the K-drama revolves around two high school classmates meeting each other after a decade.
In the previous episode, Hu-Yeong attempted to show his feelings to Hong-Ju. He took care of her while she was injured. Hong-Ju felt a pull towards him but didn’t want to accept the reality. Towards the end, her ex, Jun-Oh, rushed to her home after learning about her accident. But he got jealous of seeing Hu-Yeong and Hong-Ju together. Jun-Oh said some harsh words but received a befitting reply from her. Hu-Yeong later comforted her, and the two shared their first kiss.
The trailer for Serendipity’s Embrace episode 5 features Hong-Ju exploring her feelings for Hu-Yeong. But their happiness may not last long.

Serendipity’s Embrace episode 5 will air on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 8:40 p.m. on tvN. It will also be available to stream on Viki. Consisting of eight episodes, the romance series airs twice a week on Monday and Tuesday. Hence, episode 6 will air on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

The Serendipity’s Embrace episode 5 trailer begins with Hu-Yeong asking Hong-Ju, “Are we really just friends?” She tries to avoid him after their first kiss, but Hu-Yeong doesn’t want to lose the opportunity again.
While they share some happy moments, Hu-Yeong’s mother with a cold attitude returns. She has come to take her son back to the US. The trailer ends with Hong-Ju looking at Hu-Yeong’s luggage and asking, “Are you going somewhere?” He looks annoyed and questions, “You really want me to leave?”
