Paramount Plus‘ new TV and movie releases for August 5-11 2024 include Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and SEAL Team Season 7.
On August 9, Friday, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles drops on Paramount Plus. This animated series takes place between Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and its planned sequel. The series follows Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo, each of whom, go on their own personal journeys. Each turtle ends up contending with various villains and teaming up with old allies. In the process, the turtles learn who they really are without their brothers by their side.
Then on August 11, Sunday, SEAL Team Season 7 premieres on Paramount Plus. This is the final season of SEAL Team, which originally premiered in 2017. Like the previous seasons, this season will follow the lives of the highly elite Navy SEALs who train and prepare themselves to handle the most dangerous missions given to them by their country. The show is created by Benjamin Cavell, who previously worked on other shows like Justified and Sneaky Pete.
One Life is also coming out on Paramount Plus this week. It is a history war-drama movie directed by James Hawes from a screenplay penned by Nick Drake and Lucinda Coxon. Featuring Anthony Hopkins in the lead role, the movie follows Nicholas Winton, a British stockbroker. Winton visits Czechoslovakia in the 1930s and aids in the effort to rescue Jewish children before the beginning of World War II.
