Mayonaka Punch episode 4 recap
The episode starts with a flashback of Aya giving Fuu a mixtape and asking her to go pro with her. Meanwhile, at the mansion, Masaki asks everyone to answer a survey to get some ideas for the next one. She asks for Fuu but learns that she has a job. However, Masaki enters her room to get her survey and is surprised to hear her singing on a mix tape.
Masaki and Live then show up to Fuu’s job and tell her the next video will be of her singing. However, Fuu quickly refuses and asks Masaki to leave her alone. The episode then continues with a flashback in which Aya asks Fuu to sing with her every day for practice, and she accepts.
However, when she arrives home, Shigeyuki warns her that a vampire being a pop star is unrealistic. The audition day arrived, and just before going on stage, Fuu ran away, leaving Aya alone. The episode returns to the present, and Masaki and the group dig into Fuu’s past to find out about Aya.
Masaki tells her they found Aya’s location and gives her the address of where she had been. Fuu then leaves to meet her and apologize. However, she learns that Aya has passed away. Masaki apologizes for not doing more research while Live searches Aya’s guitar case. She finds a video of Aya talking about her friendship with Fuu, which brings the vampire to tears. The episode ends with Fuu performing the song.
