What is Bride Wars about?
Bride Wars chronicles Emma and Olivia, the childhood friends, sharing an unbreakable bond, and having made future plans. Years ago, they decided that they would get married at the Plaza Hotel. Both receive a marriage proposal from their boyfriends and decide to hold the wedding in their planned destination.
They visit planner Marion St. Claire to prepare for their wedding, asking her available slots for their June wedding. She gives them two options: either to marry on the same day June 6 or prefer June 27. They choose different dates so that their marriage doesn’t clash. However, Marion’s staff makes a mistake, leading to the wedding being scheduled for the same day. Although they try to convince the third bride to shift the date, it doesn’t happen, eventually leading to a fun enmity between the two friends.
