Red Velvet ‘Sweet Dreams:’ Release Date & Time of 10th Anniversary Special Song

SM Entertainment’s award-winning girl group Red Velvet will release a special song “Sweet Dreams” for their 10th anniversary. The music label has shared the release date and time of the group’s upcoming anniversary special song.

Red Velvet made their official debut to K-pop world on August 1, 2014, with the hit track “Happiness” which featured four members Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, and Joy. The fifth and final member of the girl group Yeri joined the group in 2015.

Release date & time of Red Velvet’s new song ‘Sweet Dreams’

Red Velvet’s new song “Sweet Dreams” will be released on August 1 at 6 p.m. KST in South Korea, 5 a.m. ET and 2 a.m. PT in the United States, 10 a.m. BST in the United Kingdom, and 2.30 p.m. in India.

As per SM Entertainment, “Sweet Dreams” is a medium-tempo song with a cheerful melody and half-riffs using the arpeggio technique. The song is specially created to thank the fandom that has supported the group for the past decade. The soothing vocals of the upcoming track can also seem like a lullaby to wish a warm goodnight to ReVeluvs (Red Velvet’s fandom name).

Following the release of “Sweet Dreams,” the K-pop girl group will also hold a series of concerts to commemorate the 10th anniversary. The fan meeting concerts this year will start in South Korea.

The dates of Red Velvet’s 2024 fan meeting concerts include:

  • August 3, 2024: Olympic Handball Gymnasium, Seoul, South Korea (6 p.m. KST)
  • August 4, 2024: Olympic Handball Gymnasium, Seoul, South Korea (4 p.m. KST)

Meanwhile, Red Velvet recently released their comeback EP, Cosmic, on June 24, 2024. The six-track mini-album sold over 203k units within the release week. The mini-album charted at number 3 on South Korea’s Circle Album Chart.
