Kagurabachi Chapter 43 recap
Chapter 43 begins with Chihiro believing he needs to touch the prisoners with cursed energy for Hakuri to send them out. Meanwhile, Hakuri tells the group that Kyora’s willpower is the only thing keeping the storehouse standing. He warns them that if Shinuchi takes over, the storehouse will collapse, and everyone inside will be lost. Elsewhere, the Kamunabi sorcerers decide to flee from Kyora’s devastating attack.
At that point, Kyora remembers the words of his late wife. She had assured him that he would be a better man without the Rakuzaichi. He also recalls that his father had passed down the family tradition to him. Kyora then asked the audience to eliminate his enemies in exchange for money. However, Hiyuki arrives in front of Hakuri to protect him.
Chihiro and Hakuri are able to save everyone from the storehouse and transport them outside the building. Meanwhile, Kyora remembers the words of his late wife again. The episode ends with Chihiro arriving to see Kyora’s dead.
