What is Femme about?
The film begins with the performance of Jules in an East London nightclub. Soon, he moves outside for a smoke but runs out of cigarettes. A heavily tattooed man named Preston has been keeping an eye on him. Jules visits a convenience shop for cigarettes while Preston shows up with his friends. The group starts passing homophobic slurs at Jules leaving him angry and disgusted. Later, Preston follows him and ends up brutally assaulting him. After three months, Jules stops performing drag and is unable to move on from his trauma. Soon, he spots Preston in a gay sauna and decides to teach him a lesson.
