Music label ATTRAKT will relaunch FIFTY FIFTY with new members. Before the big reveal, ATTRAKT shared a silhouette teaser of the group, which shows a glimpse of all the new members. Eagle-eyed fans have speculations about quite a few members and who they could be.
FIFTY FIFTY released one of the most viral songs of 2024, “Cupid.” The song’s playful rhythm and lyrics about “feeling lonely” resonated with millions of fans. “Cupid” has received over 880 million streams on Spotify since its release. It also made it to the “Top 2023 TikTok Songs Globally.”
While the group’s popularity instantly made it famous, the original lineup of Saena, Sio, and Aran found themselves in a legal battle with the music label. Ultimately, the trio left the K-pop group, and Keena remained at the agency.
FIFTY FIFTY Members: Who are they?
ATTRAKT’s FIFTY FIFTY is all set to make its 2024 comeback in September with four new members. Before the global announcement of the members, the music label shared a mysterious teaser of all the members.
From the teaser, fans speculate that FIFTY FIFTY may feature R U Next participants Chanelle Moon and Yewon. The members showed off their charms in Belift Lab’s show, R U Next. Chanelle was eliminated in episode 9, and Yewon left the show in episode 6.
Meanwhile, in an official statement in June, ATTRAKT shared their plans with FIFTY FIFTY. The music label said, “Although we are well aware that many people are waiting for FIFTY FIFTY to make a comeback, for the sake of album production quality and global marketing, we unavoidably need substantial time. To present a higher-quality [comeback, we are preparing to make a comeback in September instead of June, as we previously promised.”
The label added, “We are all too aware that this miraculous time and opportunity of today are only possible because of the precious fans who have been waiting for a long time.” As per the label, FIFTY FIFTY will drop a pre-release track that will show “FIFTY FIFTY’s unique color” before making the official comeback.
