YG Entertainment announces BLACKPINK’s comeback & world tour in 2025

As per YG Entertainment‘s latest schedule, BLACKPINK will make its 2025 comeback with an album. The next comeback will mark the group’s return after three years of waiting. Followed by Blackpink’s 2025 comeback, the group is expected to go on a world tour.

Previously, BLACKPINK released their studio album, Born Pink, on September 16, 2022, which sold over 2,930,663 copies within a week of its release in South Korea. The album sold over 101,500 units in the United States in its release week, leading them to earn the Billboard 200 topper position. The group also topped South Korea’s Circle Album Chart.

Following the album’s release, the group announced their 2022–2023 Born Pink World Tour, which garnered over 1.8 million visitors. This made the BLACKPINK World Tour the most-attended concert tour by a K-pop girl group. In North America, over 540,000 people attended Born Pink concerts, and over 215,000 K-pop listeners in Europe went to the concerts.

After a historic run with a world tour and an eight-track studio album, the group took a short break to focus on their solo activities. However, YG has recently announced that BLACKPINK will hold an offline concert for fans to celebrate their 8th anniversary.

Furthermore, the group will hold a fan signing event, ‘OUR AREA WITH BLINK,’ to celebrate its 8th anniversary on August 8. YG shared that 88 lucky fans who impress the members with their ‘love for BLACKPINK through fan letters, drawings, photos, or stories’ about their treasured memories with BLACKPINK will be selected for the fan signing event.
