In verse 1 of “Chk Chk Boom,” Han and Changbin start strong, announcing, “I hit the black dot right at the center/ And even my swift plan/ On a perfect scene without a blind spot/ I dance as I planned keep going/ Sick of this life, it’s regular/ I overate victory, so full (Ayy)/ To go for a stroll I wear the belt around my waist/ We go to the universe all the rest kneel, I’m strong.”

In the chorus, the group incorporates Spanish words as Hyunjin and Lee Know drive the song to its peak, singing, “Vamos, I know that you want it/ Lobos, wе cannot stop hunting.” Felix, famous for his husky vocals, uses his strength to lend the song its goosebumps moment. Meanwhile, the reception of Stray Kids’ “Chk Chk Boom” has been massive. The song garnered over 4.8 million views within five hours of its release. Per Hanteo charts, the album also crossed over 1.4 million sales within hours of its drop.

Following the album release, Stray Kids prepares to perform the new album on live stages. The “JJam” crooners will start their 2024 world tour DominATE on August 24 at Seoul’s KSPO Dome.
