The episode starts with Mimori having a flashback to his abusive childhood. He wakes up on the bus to find his class president, Ayaka, being teased by Oyamada. The rest of the class ponders whether they should help, but nobody steps up. However, Mimori chooses to intervene despite having no presence in the class. Takuto then gets involved, which calms Oyamada down.

Suddenly, Goddess Viscis teleports them to another world, welcoming them as heroes to slay the demon king. The group asks if there is a way to return to their world, and the goddess informs them the only way is to obtain the demon king’s heart or absorb the evil elements when he perishes.

Viscis tells them they have all been given special abilities and calls each of them to check. While the entire class has useful abilities, Mimori only awakens an E-ranked ability. The goddess then casts him into the ruins, deeming him disposable. The class laughs at his situation, but Ayaka tries to help him. However, the goddess renders her unconscious and teleports him away. At the ruins, Mimori meets some monsters but is able to paralyze them with his skill. The episode ends with Mimori deciding to kill all the monsters and survive to get his revenge.
