Their leader appears with a smirk. He is Jeffrey’s subordinate, Dex. A huge fight breaks down between the two parties.

The corruption spreads to all sectors, reaching Prosecutor Kwak Do-Soo as well. His senior warns him not to dig into high-level people, hinting at his investigation into Jeffery. Ha-Ri visits Soo-Min after suspecting that she might not be doing well. He tells her about the attack and In-Gyu’s condition when they meet. Further, Ha-Ri tries to comfort Soo-Min and states that he knows about her digging for evidence about Sang-Ho. Ha-Ri reveals that he has been suspicious of the politician from the beginning. She further asks him why he still wants to help the president even after knowing the truth. Ha-Ri mentions that he has talked with him recently. Then a flashback features the interaction between Ha-Ri and Sang-Ho. Ha-Ri believes that the president is working towards the downfall of Jeffrey, but Soo-Min struggles to trust Sang-Ho. The swindlers’ leader insists that Soo-Min at least try to believe Ha-Ri.
Meanwhile, Jeffrey meets Sang-Ho and mentions that he has dealt with the protests against him. He has initiated bomb threats, which have prohibited the protestors from voicing their concerns outside the NQ Train Corporation. However, Ha-Ri suspects the bomb threats are not just for a show and that Jeffrey may truly harm the public at the upcoming festival. It seems the antagonist wants to put the bombing’s blame on the protestors, which will help him gain public support.
