Ex-Highlight member Yong Junhyung has made a new beginning after being away from the limelight for years. The K-pop artist is now in the headlines after confirming his upcoming marriage with HyunA.
Yong Junhyung debuted in the Korean music industry as a member of the boyband Xing in 2007. A year later, he left the K-pop group and joined Cube Entertainment’s Beast in 2009. Later, Beast was renamed Highlight when all the artists left the agency and formed their own labels. After staying in the band for a decade, he exited the music group in 2019.

Former Highlight member Yong Junhyung established his own music label, Black Made, in 2022. The agency added, “We would like to thank everyone who has always supported us with warm eyes, and we ask for your blessings for HyunA’s future as she has made such a big decision as an artist and as a person.”
HyunA and Yong Junhyung have been close friends for a long time. The couple has talked about each other in television shows about their close friendship. In the 2016 show Happy Together, the duo appeared together. Yong Junhyung said, “We talk about how we work on our new albums and what worries us, and we give each other advice.” Now, after years of being friends, HyunA and Yong Junhyung are embracing a new chapter in their lives.
