Lee Jung-Ha’s The Auditors K-Drama: Release Date, Time & More

The Auditors K-drama is a new series starring Lee Jung-Ha and Shin Ha-Kyun in lead roles. It follows the story of a new audit team that is hired to fix the famous JU Construction. When a stubborn and cold team leader joins this company filled with corruption, things take a nasty turn.

The plot begins with JU Construction hiring a new audit team headed by Shin Cha-Il (Shin Ha-Kyun). With a cool demeanor, he is headstrong with principals. A rookie named Gu Han-Soo (Lee Jung-Ha) joins his team and locks horns with him, as the two have different personalities and ideas. Will they ever respect each other? The drama is all set to premiere in July 2024 on tvN.

New K-drama The Auditors release date & time 

The Auditors will premiere on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 9:20 p.m. KST on tvN. Later, it will also be available on the streaming platform Viki. Consisting of 12 episodes, the series will air twice a week on Saturday and Sunday. 

It takes the slot of The Midnight Romance in Hagwon, starring Wi Ha-Joon and Jung Ryeo-Won. While The Auditors episode 1 will air on July 6, episode 2 will be released on Sunday, July 7, 2024. 

The Auditors cast: List of actors & characters they play 

The Auditors K-drama includes a star-studded line-up of cast members. While Shin Ha-Kyun and Lee Jung-Ha are leading the series, Jin Goo, Jo Aram, and Jung Moon-Sung also play pivotal roles.

Ha-Kyun plays Shin Cha-Il, the head of the JU Constructions’ audit team. He has a stubborn and cold personality, but he also has a cool demeanor when making tough decisions. Cha-Il is the right man to hunt down white-collar frauds and criminals. In the company, he will experience nasty and complicated situations because of corruption.

Previously, actor Ha-Kyun has appeared in K-dramas like Evilive, Yonder, Beyond Evil, Soul Mechanic, and Pied Piper. He has also done several movies, including Anchor, Inseparable Bros, Gift, Room 7, Detour, Cafe Noir, and The Devil’s Game.

The Auditors also stars Jung-Ha as Gu Han-Soo, a Gen Z employee with different perspectives than his team leader, Cha-Il. He is a kind-hearted rookie and applies for the job for a different purpose. He believes his experience on the company’s audit team will help him land a good position in Florida, United States. Despite his clashes with Cha-Il, he realizes that their team effort benefits both of them.

Actor Jung-Ha has not done many projects, but most of his works are quite praiseworthy. Last year, he won the Asia Contents Awards and the Global OTT Best Newcomer Actor Award for his role in the popular drama Moving. He has also appeared in Nevertheless, Run On, Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung, and Want More 19.

The Auditors plot: What is the 2024 K-drama about?

The Auditors plot revolves around the themes of company politics and corruption. Shin Cha-Il is the master of eradicating white-collar criminals and will follow his principles in the new company. But problems will arise, as Cha-Il is a man of principles. In the latest preview for the premiere episode, the team head’s fierce side is highlighted when he interrogates a high-ranking office employee.

The series will also focus on the bond between Cha-Il and his warm-hearted team. Its synopsis reads, “An office investigative drama that depicts the ups and downs of teamwork between a cool-headed audit team leader and affectionate audit team members.” 

Meanwhile, The Auditors will air new episodes twice a week on weekends on tvN and Viki.
