BTS Update: Is There a Jungkook & Jimin Collab? Is It a Travel Show?

BTS teased a new show, which will arrive in August. Fans speculate that the show will unveil Jungkook and Jimin’s travel stories. The Jikook duo shares an exceptional bond and has often traveled together without other members. Jungkook previously shared a video dedicated to the pair’s Tokyo trip on Bangtan TV’s YouTube channel.

Fans of Bangtan Boys love the group’s travel shows, especially the latest edition, “BTS In The Soop.” As per BTS‘ label’s latest teaser, a similar show will be released for fans, and only two members will take a trip together.

Are BTS members Jeon Jungkook & Park Jimin (Jikook) coming together for a show?

BTS Jimin and Jungkook (nicknamed Jikook) may have a travel show that will air on August 8, 2024. BigHit Music has shared a snippet of the show without revealing the members’ faces. From the activities and silhouettes, fans speculate that the pair could be Jikook, who once shared their travel plans.

Jungkook mentioned his travel show with Jimin in Suga’s interview. The “Seven” crooner shared that he had discussed having a travel variety show with Jimin. Initially, the staff did not respond but later announced the shooting schedule.

He revealed, “It was funny after Jimin came. It was a total mess.” He talks more about the show, but the portion gets edited as a ‘spoiler’ in the interview. Suga adds to the conversation, saying, “There’s something about Jimin that just tugs your heartstrings.”

Jimin and Jungkook‘s “travel log” is already a fan-favorite topic. Jungkook shared a “Golden Closet Film” (G.C.F) about the duo’s travel to Tokyo, which garnered over 34 million views since its release. With the new teaser’s release, fans are confident they will get the sequel of G.C.F Tokyo six years later.

Meanwhile, Jimin will also return in 2024 with his new album, Muse. It will be released on July 19 at 1 p.m. KST and 12 a.m. ET. Jimin’s July album will contain six tracks, including the pre-release song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” featuring LOCO, which dropped on June 28.
