Halloween Aftermath (2025): Is Michael Myers’ Movie Poster Real or Fake?

An impressive Halloween Aftermath (2025) poster is going viral on the internet, making fans wonder whether it’s real or fake. It’s been almost two years since the premiere of Halloween Ends and there is no update on another addition to the popular franchise. This realistic-looking poster has piqued a widespread discussion among fans about its legitimacy.

Here are all the details on whether the Halloween Aftermath movie poster is real or a fake poster.

Is the Halloween Aftermath poster for 2025 real or fake?

The Halloween Aftermath 2025 poster is a fan-made poster.

A fan-made poster for a potential Halloween Aftermath 2025 film has surfaced on Facebook, sparking speculation among horror fans. The chilling image features Michael Myers’ menacing visage front and center, bathed in an ominous glow. The title: Halloween Aftermath 2025 is displayed, accompanied by a bone-chilling tagline in orange – “Evil is always near,” as per The Direct.

The poster seemingly has a fan’s logo on it, which apparently makes it illegitimate. Upon the release of Halloween Ends, Jason Blum, producer of Halloween movies, confirmed to Screen Rant that it would be their last Halloween movie.

“I didn’t say it’s gonna be the last Halloween movie,” Blum said, adding, “It’s our last Halloween movie. We have no more rights to make any more Halloween, so it goes back to Malek [Akkad]. And what he does, only he knows, but we are done. This is our last one, and I think people will be very happy.”

It doesn’t mean that there won’t be more Halloween franchise movies. However, there is no official confirmation if a reboot is happening. Neither any franchise actor nor director has confirmed any Halloween Aftermath movie.

Is Michael Myers’ Halloween Afterman reboot in development?

No, the Halloween Aftermath movie is not in development. Also, Michael Myers’ is not returning for another installment, as of now.

In an interview with Comic Book, Jason Blum shared that their arrangement with Myers was just for three movies. While he had no problem in extending their arrangement, he revealed that currently, they are more focused on Halloween Ends.

He elaborated, “I would love to extend it. If Malek [Akkad] would like us, I’d love to extend it, but we’re very busy making sure the third movie is spectacular because that’s our immediate job and if it goes beyond that, I’d be thrilled. But there are currently no plans for us to be involved after this third movie.”

Although Halloween Aftermath plans are not on the radars of the makers, for now, Miramax does have the rights to the franchise, Deadline reported. Thus, a Halloween TV series is currently in the making in collaboration with Miramax and Trancas International Films.

According to Miramax’s Marc Helwig, this particular series base would be the original John Carpenter movie and it would be a complete “creative reset.” (via Deadline)
