Talking to the Los Angeles Times, Kimmel disclosed that this could be his final contract with the show. As per the ongoing agreement, Jimmy Kimmel Live! is set to continue for another two years. However, the veteran Academy Award host also stated in the aforementioned interview that the period of two years “seems like enough,” possibly hinting at his eventual exit.
While Kimmel’s comments have worried several fans across the globe, there is a possibility that he might change his mind. According to the American TV personality, he had contemplated retirement earlier but ended up continuing each time. Addressing his plans after the conclusion of his talk show, he admitted he has little idea regarding the future.
Kimmel jokingly mentioned indulging in activities like speaking Italian, playing the harmonica, and fly fishing.
