The Whirlwind K-drama’s release time has been confirmed. It is all set to premiere in June 2024 on Netflix. Kyung-Gu plays South Korean Prime Minister Park Dong-Ho, who wants to expose the corrupt President Kim Hong-Pa (Jang Il-Jun). While plotting to punish the president, he encounters Deputy Prime Minister Jung Soo-Jin (Hee-Ae). Soon, a political war ensues between the two lead characters.
The official synopsis of The Whirlwind K-drama reads, “Park Dong Ho is the prime minister of South Korea. He wants to punish the corrupt president, who colludes with powerful family-owned corporations called chaebols, and change the world of politics. Jung Soo Jin is the deputy prime minister for economic affairs. She confronts Park Dong Ho and a fierce political strife ensues.”

The Whirlwind K-drama will premiere on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. KST on Netflix. In other countries, the series will air at 9:00 p.m. IST, on June 27 at 11:30 p.m. EST, and at 4:30 a.m. BST.

Hee-Ae has also done many movies, such as The Moon, The Hero Returns, The 101st Proposition, and Dead Man. The multi-award-winning star has bagged five Baeksang Arts Awards throughout her career.
