Blue Lock Chapter 266 Recap & Spoilers: Kaiser Launches Kaiser Impact Magnus

Blue Lock Chapter 266 was released on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 8 a.m. PDT. For fans in the United States of America, the chapter is available on Kodansha’s official website and mobile application. The issue was supposed to reveal the aftermath of Kaiser’s attempt at scoring a goal using his Kaiser Impact Magnus.

As such, Blue Lock chapter 266, titled “Superstar,” begins with an exciting disclaimer. The disclaimer comments on whether Kaiser will manage to reclaim his throne by using his newly unleashed weapon, Kaiser Impact Magnus.

Following Kaiser’s possession of the ball, the chapter shows Rin Itoshi and Charles Chevalier from Paris X Gen arriving to block Kaiser’s attack. However, their attempt remains unsuccessful as the Kaiser’s powerful kick forces the ball to get past his opponents.

The ball moves left and follows an off-beat trajectory, which makes Raichi Jingo and Aoshi Tokimitsu believe that Kaiser has failed to kick the ball properly once again. However, their prediction turns out to be wrong when Yoichi Isagi observes the ball’s course.

He realizes that Kaiser’s kick this time is different. In that, he explains that since the ball stopped for a split second, Kaiser could properly hit the ball the way he wanted to. Isagi further adds how the ball has an overwhelming amount of spin and exclaims that Kaiser made the air his ally to help him strike effectively.

With all eyes on the ball, including Alexis Ness’, who has been consistently rooting for Kaiser, the ball flies with enormous velocity. However, before the chapter reveals the ball’s fate, it launches a flashback involving a young Michael Kaiser.

Blue Lock chapter 266: Kaiser’s super goal impresses Isagi

The flashback shows a sorrowful Kaiser playing with his ball. He kicks the ball profusely, leading it back to him and hitting him in the face. Kaiser falls to the ground and frustratingly kicks the ball away from him.

Following this, he starts to walk away, only to go back and retrieve the ball the next instant. This shows his profound connection with the ball and how he found solace in the sport.

After a lonely Kaiser spends time with his ball, the chapter shows his father physically abusing him. He kicks the little boy and steps on him harshly. An injured Kaiser is then shown sitting in his room, holding his ball close to his chest.

Looking up at the ceiling, he stares at the moon and talks about becoming free. Despite all that he endures, he is shown holding on to the hope of escaping his house and his abusive father to be free. He hopes to earn a lot of money once he is free and eat a lot of good food.

At the same time, Kaiser hopes to become human in the process. He goes so far as to hope to be loved. He reaches his hand in front of him and states his desire to be loved. However, it is in contrast with the Bastard Munchen player’s current situation.

The chapter returns to the present and shows Kaiser’s overpowering shot going past the goalkeeper. As such, the consistent bend in the ball due to Kaiser’s attack allows it to reach the net to score a goal. It is worth noting that Kaiser’s super goal leaves Isagi awestruck and compels him to call Kaiser a superstar.

With this, Blue Lock chapter 266 shows Kaiser scoring a goal that stuns the whole world. Moreover, it allows Kaiser to bring all the attention back to him while simultaneously taking the lead against Paris X Gen.

The chapter ends with a brief note commenting on Kaiser’s goal, shifting the momentum back in his favor. The score is now 2-1, with Bastard Munchen in the lead.
